Hyundai sold 38,200 units in the domestic market in July 2020.

Hyundai Motor India Limited has sold a total of 41,300 units in the month of July, including 38,200 units in the domestic market and exports of 3,100 units. Hyundai India is seen coming back on track again, month after month sales. Hyundai sold a total of 26,820 units in the month of June. The company has achieved a decline of 28 percent as compared to July 2019. This led to the company selling 57,310 units in the same month last year. The company's domestic sales were significantly better as the company sold 38,200 units, a decline of just 2.07 per cent over the same period last year.

Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India, said on the sales performance, "As a responsible and caring organization, it is our duty to humbly contribute to trigger the country's economic revival. With the changing trend of choice for personal mobility, our continuous efforts are to cater to customer needs and to meet market demand. With 38,200 units, it is 98% of domestic sales volume in July. The performance is driven by good customer demand for our Most Admired Brands - The Ultimate AUV All New Creta, Venue, New Verna, Elite i20 and Nios.

Let me tell you, Hyundai has delivered 20,000 units of 2020 Creta from 16 March till now. Not only this, this midsize SUV has also received 55,000 bookings in four months. The new Hyundai Creta was one of the best-selling passenger vehicles in May 2020 with 3,212 units. According to Hyundai, the company is getting a much better response through the Click to Buy online sales platform. In just four months, Hyundai Creta has received 1,900 bookings through the digital channel and has seen over 20,000 inquiries.
