1. Kia Sonet
The first car on our list is the Kia Sonet, which has been introduced globally today i.e. on 7 August. Let us know, Kia Sonet will be the company's third car after Seltos and Carnival in India. The car has been offered with three engine options 1.2-liter petrol, 1.0-liter turbo-GDi petrol and 1.5-liter diesel. As far as the launch in India, the Kia Sonet will be officially launched in the Indian market for sale in September 2020. 2. Nissan Magnite
The second car on this list is the Magnite. Last month, the company released the first teaser of this car. The company will introduce Nissan Magnite with a 1.0-liter turbocharged, inline 3 petrol engine. This engine will be capable of generating 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of peak torque. Let me tell you, a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder petrol motor will also be given on the lower trims of this SUV. Which will generate 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. Talking about the price, this car may be the cheapest car in its segment. The report claims that the company will launch it at an initial price of Rs 6 lakh.
3. Mahindra Thar
People are eagerly waiting for the new generation of Mahindra's famous ride Thar. Mahindra Thar will be officially introduced on India's 74th Independence Day on 15 August 2020. However, its launch is expected in the coming months. The Mahindra Thar will be offered with a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine. Which will generate 140 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. Apart from this, the car is also expected to get a 1.5-liter mStallion petrol motor, which will generate 165 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque. The price of this car can start from Rs 10 lakh.
4.Toyota Urban Cruiser
Toyota, in collaboration with Toyota and Maruti, will soon launch its car in this segment in the name of Urban Cruiser. This sub-4-meter SUV has been on trial for some time. Which will be launched near Diwali. A 1.5-liter petrol engine powering the Toyota Urban Cruiser will be given. Which produces a peak power of 105 PS and a maximum torque of 138 Nm. The 5-speed manual will be offered as standard and 4-speed automatic as an option with this engine. Talking about the price, the price of this car can start from 8 lakhs.
