KIA Sonet Vs Hyundai Venue 2020.
South Korean automobile manufacturer Kia Motors today introduced its much-awaited car Kia Sonet globally. Let us know, Kia Sonet will be the company's third car after Seltos and Carnival in India. Which will make its way into the compact SUV segment. The point to note here is that the Kia Sonet will be a 'Made in India' car and will be exported from India to other countries. Currently, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon are present in this segment.
Like the Kia Seltos and Carnival, the Kia Sonat will also be a connected car. Which you can activate by simply speaking 'Hey Kia' through remote features and voice assistant. Sonnet will primarily compete in Hyundai Venue in India. Which has recently been updated with an IMT gearbox option.

The Kia Sonnet features a long list of features with a 10.25-inch "touchscreen infotainment system, Bose's 7-speaker system, electric sunroof, front ventilated seats, 55 UVO connected features, and smartwatches for remote function." Keeping in mind the safety, six airbags and 57 connected features are also given.
Hyundai Venue will be defeated by these features
The Hyundai Venue has a slightly lower feature list than the Kia Sonnet. It has a semi-digital instrument panel, an 8 inch infotainment system, which is equipped with BlueLink connectivity. Apart from this, the Venue also includes Archmys sound system, electric sunroof, automatic AC, wireless phone charger, driver rear view monitor, rear AC vent, rear parking sensor, etc. That is, the sonnet will have a large touchscreen, fully digital instrument panel, ventilated seats, Bose's sound system, air purifiers, tire pressure monitoring systems, multiple driving and traction modes. Venue will be superb in design
Talking about the exterior of Kia Sonet, if you look at it from the front, you might miss the signature design of Kia. It includes projector headlamps with DRLs, LED tail-lamps at the rear. Along with this, black ORVM, silver-finished roof rail and dual-tone alloy wheels have also been given in it. Speaking of the Hyundai Venue, it is 3,995 mm long, 1,770 mm wide, while the car has a height of about 1,590 mm, and it gets a wheelbase of 2,500 mm. At present, no information has been available about the dimensions of Sonnet.
Engine option
Talking about the engine options, the Kia Sonat is offered with three engine options, 1.2-liter petrol, 1.0-liter turbo-GDi petrol and 1.5-liter diesel. At the same time, transmission options include 5-speed MT, 6-speed MT, 6-speed iMT, 6-speed AT and 7-speed DCT. The thing to note here is that there has been no significant change in the petrol engine of Kia Sonnet and Venue. Even the power and torque of the petrol versions of both the vehicles have been kept the same. However, the option of only 6-speed AMT in Sonnet's diesel engine makes it different from the Venue. There has also been no change in the power and torque figures of the remaining diesel versions.
