Hi there very happy to see you all again. Open jeeps and cars without roof are most loved from years. On hill station these type of cars gives amazing fun and joy. In old time kings and emperor were own the open car for their traveling purpose. At present there are very few cars comes without roof and very expensive, we can't drive these car in cities becasue of dust, pollution. After all this still their is one car that comes at affordable price and give us same open roof experience.
Ok, lets come back to our topic. Mahindra has recently launch the new generation of that in India, this 4*4 is more popular that lot of premium cars. New Thar equipped with all the updated features and all customers demads full fill like attraactive design with lot of power. Thar is available in both petrol and diesel engine option and 4*4 is the standard features in it.

Modifying Thar is a trend that running from past many years. Mahindra provide two diffrent option in thar, one is soft top ( in which we can easily remove the roof) and other one is hard top (fixed roof as given in other cars). There are pros and cons of both soft top and hard top.
Major feature, Thar has washable interior (Yes we clean our that interior like we wash it from outside)
Soft Top Advantages
- Best experience on hill station
- Easily carry big boxes after removing roof
- Washable interior no worry about dust
Disadvantage of Soft Top
- A lot of dust on face when open in city areas
- Anyone can easily open the roof, Zip given outside (Bags are not safe)
- AC not able to cool more as compare to hard top
Hard Top Advantages
- A covered car is safe nothing can direct come on us from outside
- Car will mostly clean from inside unless we don't mess it up
Disadvantage Of Hard Top
- Thar did't have sunroof, so we always pack at hill stations
- Never able to experience open car
