EESL orders 150 Nexon EVs to Tata, will be used in government work

Tata Motors has secured an order for 150 Nexon EVs from Energy Efficiency Service Limited, a Government of India venture or EESL.

Tata Motors has secured an order for 150 Naxon EVs from Energy Efficiency Service Limited, a Government of India venture or EESL. Tata Motors has won the tender and now 150 Naxon EVs will be used in the government. 

Price 

EESL will buy Tata Naxon EV for Rs 14.86 lakh per car, which is Rs 13,000 less than its ex-showroom price of Rs 14.99 lakh. Tata Naxon EV has contributed immensely in achieving 62 percent shares of electric vehicle segment in the financial year 2020-21.

Talking about this, Shailesh Chandra, President, Passenger Vehicle Business, Tata Motors, said, "There is growing interest in electric vehicles in India and such a partnership will be very effective to create a better environment for these vehicles." . 

We have partnered with EESL in which we will provide more electric vehicles for government use, so that the trend towards future vehicles in the country will increase and more and more vehicles are started to be used. Being the leader of the fast growing EV segment, Tata Motors will encourage the use of these vehicles across the country. ”

Engine And Power Specification 

Tata Motors' Naxon EV is a first-of-its-kind new generation electric car introduced with ZipTron technology. The company has already produced 1,000 units of Naxon EV. With the ZipTron technology, the Tata Nexon EV offers a range of 312 km on a single charge. 

Fast charging capability has been provided with EV, which will also be given the best safety features in the category with IP67 battery and this car will come with 35 connected car features. With an electric battery, this SUV produces 245 Nm of peak torque, which allows the car to reach 100 km / h in just 9.9 seconds.
