Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced opening of bookings for its upcoming subcompact SUV Urban Cruiser. Bookings for this car based on Maruti Vitara Brezza will be started from August 22, 2020. The Urban Cruiser will be the company's cheapest SUV sold in India. The car will run on the same K-Series four-cylinder 1.5-liter petrol engine that has been installed in many Maruti Suzuki cars apart from the Vitara Brezza. Both manual and automatic transmission options will be available in the Urban Cruiser and all automatic variants will get torque assist, regenerative braking and idle start-stop with Li-Ion battery.
Design of Urban Cruiser
From the outside, the car will get a chrome-laden two-slate dynamic grille that reminds of the Toyota Fortuner. Also, the car will have LED projector lamps, LED DRLs and indicators and LED fog lamps. Customers will have the option to choose 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and in addition to dual-tone colors, the car also includes a unique brown color. The new Toyota Urban Cruiser will come with a warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh km.
Feature in Urban Cruiser
Dual-tone dark brown colors will be offered in the cabin, in addition to push button start and auto AC. Toyota Urban Cruiser's touchscreen system will run with both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Along with this, you will also get smartphone based navigation, rain sensing wipers, cruise control and electrochromic rear view mirror. Booking of the car can be done on any showroom or website of the company by paying an amount of Rs 11,000.
