High Demand of Alto, S-Presso and Kwid
While all the car sales are witnessing a decline in the Corona era, the entry-level hatchback segment has seen 40 percent more purchases. In fact, this July, 20,865 people bought entry-level hatchback cars. Whereas, 14,910 hatchback trains were sold in July 2019. That is, this July entry hatchback segment has grown by 12% over the previous year.

Maruti Suzuki Alto
Maruti Alto was the country's best-selling entry hatchback in July. In July 2020, Maruti Alto sold 13,654 units. Whereas, in July 2019, it sold 11,577 units. That is, compared to last year, sales of Alto in July this year have increased by 18 percent. Let us know that Alto is the best selling car in the country.
Maruti Suzuki S-Presso
The country's largest car company Maruti's S-Presso was India's second-best selling entry-level hatchback in July. In July 2020, Maruti Suzuki's S-Presso sold 3,604 units. The S-Preso was launched in September last year, so its July figures are not available.
Renault Kwid
Renault was followed by Maruti in the entry hatchback segment. In July 2020, Renault Kwid sold 3,007 units. Whereas, in July 2019, it sold 2,684 units. That is, the sales of the Kwid increased by 12 percent in July 2020 over the previous year.
Datsun redi-go
In July 2020, 600 units of Datsun Redi-Go went on sale. Whereas in July 2019 last year, it had sold 649 units. That is, sales of Datsun Redi-Go decreased by 12% in July 2020 as compared to the previous year.
