What is iMT ? 
In simple way iMT is clutchless manual gear. New iMT is just a regular manual gearbox without any clutch. It provide full control of gear and speed in you hand without pressing hard clutch. 

Difference Between iMT and AMT ? 
While in Automatic Manula Transmission and Intelligent Manual Transmission both are regular manual gear box. In AMT, the actuators motor change the gear and operate clutch for you. It is fully automatically and software governs when and how to shift the gear according to speed. 

In Intelligent manual transmission, actuator and motor only control the clutch and you have to shift gear manually. The iMT provide full control of gears in you hand without pressing hard clutch. 

Benefits of iMT ?
In iMT you get complete control of you car, when and how to change gear or at specific speed. It gave you complete control you have to shift or not gear while coming down from hill or going upside. The major benefit as using less parts from AMT there is no actuator for gear shifting the cost of iMT near to Regular Manual gearbox. 

How To Drive ? 
While Drive you did't need to worry there is no big change as you drive manual car, Just like that, there is no need to press clutch. No Need to Lift off accelerator while shifting gear, but if you do it provide smooth things. In iMT you did't loose control from gear, In AMT you have to control speed only gear shift automatically, also when using plus or minus did't get driving fun.
