Toyota Urban Cruiser SUV to be launched in festive season, know special things

Toyota Urban cruiser. 


The Toyota Urban Cruiser SUV will be the second product under the partnership of Maruti Suzuki and Toyota. It will be based on the Maruti Brezza. However, it is expected to make some changes to its styling to give it a different look from the Brezza.

Toyota is set to introduce a new sub-compact SUV in the Indian market. Toyota's SUV will be based on the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza. It is expected to be launched in the market under the name Toyota Urban Cruiser. The company plans to launch this new SUV in the festive season. The first Toyota Urban Cruiser was set to launch in August, but its launch was delayed due to the Corona virus epidemic.

The Urban Cruiser SUV will be the second product under the partnership of Toyota and Maruti Suzuki. Earlier, Toyota launched the Glanza based on Maruti Suzuki's premium hatchback Baleno. The Glanza is completely Maruti-Baleno apart from some minor changes including Toyota badges and a separate grille. However, the Urban Cruiser is expected to get some more changes, which will make it look different from Maruti Brezza.

Engine Specification. 
The Toyota Urban Cruiser is expected to get the Maruti Brezza engine. The Brezza comes with a 1.5-liter K-series petrol engine, which comes with Suzuki's mild-hybrid technology. This engine generates 104bhp power and 138Nm torque. It comes with 5-speed manual and 4-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox options.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Rivals. 
The Toyota Urban Cruiser is coming into the fiercely competitive sub-compact SUV (smaller than 4-meter) segment. Many SUVs are present in its competition in the market. These include vehicles such as Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300 and Ford EcoSport. Apart from these, new SUVs like Kia Sonnet, Renault Kaigar and Nissan Magnite are also coming in this segment.
