Upcoming Nissan Magnite.
The concept model of Nissan Magnite was introduced in the second week of July. This new SUV will only come in petrol engines. In the market it will compete with SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Kia's upcoming Sonnet.
Nissan has started testing its new sub-compact SUV Magnite in India. Leaked pictures during testing of Nissan Magnite have been revealed. Like the concept model, the testing model is also seen in sloping A and C-pillars and crossovers with large wheel arches.
Exterior Design.
Nissan Magnite's final model is expected to get cladding and contrast roof on 16-inch wheels, black A-pillars, chrome door handles, door sills and wheel arches. At the same time, official pictures of this new SUV have shown that this front look will be like Datsun's cars.
The front of the Magnite will feature an octagonal grille with a mesh pattern, silver / chrome bars on the side of the grille, L-shape LED daytime running lights with LED headlamps and sporty bumpers with scuff plates. At the rear will be the rear bumper with brushed silver elements, chunky tailgate, LED taillamp and scuff plate.
Features.
Cabin details of this new Nissan SUV have not been revealed yet. However, the company has said that Magnite will be equipped with many great features. Reports say that it will get features such as 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 360 degree camera, connected car features, cruise control, steering mounted controls and automatic climate control.
Engine option
The Magnite SUV will only come with a petrol engine. It will have two engine options, including a 1.0-liter naturally aspirated petrol with 72bhp power and a 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 95bhp power. They will be offered with manual and CVT automatic gearbox options.
When will it be launched?
Nissan Magnite will be launched in early 2021. It will be Nissan's smallest and cheapest SUV in the Indian market. It will compete in the market with SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia's upcoming Sonnet and Renault's upcoming Kaigar.
