Hyundai Kona Electric SUV to get three, four and five year warranty.

The electric car Hyundai Kona was launched in 2019 last year. The company has a 39.3 kWh battery in the Kona, which gives 136 hp power. According to ARAI, Kona offers a drive range of up to 452 km in full charging. The lithium polymer battery in it is fully charged on the AC charger in six hours. While the DC charger charges up to 80 percent in 57 minutes. At the same time, the Kona takes 9.7 seconds to catch the speed of 0 to 100 km per hour.

Wonder Warranty Program
Hyundai Kona is priced at Rs 23.85 lakh and is priced at single tone color option. While the dual tone option costs Rs 24.11 lakh. Currently, the company is offering a 3-year / unlimited km warranty on this car. At the same time, it is offering an 8-year / 1.6 lakh km warranty on the battery. At the same time, Hyundai has offered two new warranty plans for the Kona. The company has launched them under the Wonder Warranty Program.

Three-way warranty package
Under the new warranty program, customers will have the option to get a warranty package according to their driving needs. The company used to offer a 3-year / unlimited km warranty till now on the Kona, but now customers will have the option to choose a four-year / 60,000 km or five-year / 50,000 km warranty package. The company has launched this plan in view of the driving needs of the customers. At the same time, there will be no need to pay a separate price, rather it will be included in the price of the car itself. The customer only has to choose the warranty package of their need.

New Kona's greater drive range
At the same time, the company is now engaged in expanding the charging network of EVs in the country. So far 7.2 kilowatt AC chargers have been installed at more than 50 dealerships in 30 cities. At the same time, the company has crossed the sales of one lakh sales of Kona worldwide. As of 30 June 2020, 1,03,719 vehicles have been sold. The company plans to sell 5.60 lakh battery vehicles by 2025. Apart from this, the company has also launched the 2020 model of Kona in Europe. In which the company has improved the driving range. The company claims that the new corner will run 484 km instead of 449 km. At the same time, its top end model will get a 64 kWh battery pack and 204 hp electric motor.
