Maruti Suzuki Swift update version is already under work and expected to hit showroom sometimes around third quarter of 2020 due to corona virus related delay. New Updated swift get a major change under hood, it get 1.2 liter dual jet petrol engine and minor change on exterior. 

Real Updates.
Swift Third generation is currently sell in Indian market. Maruti Decided to gave some update to swift and launch in 2020. The major change under the hood swift get 1.2 liter dual jet petrol engine which is currently available in Baleno and Dzire.  Maruti Dzire recently updated with this Dual jet engine, Now time for Swift. The New engine increase in power and  performance of swift. 

New 1.2 liter dual jet engine increase power upto 7 hp, to 90 hp and combine with expected curb weight of 895 Kg. So expected good increase in performance from 0-100 Kph in 10-11 second. There is no big effect on price of updated swift. 

The updated swift get some little change on exterior like large size bumper or big grill. There aren't too much changes expected inside car. There will be some upgrade to trim, a new and large touch screen could be drafted in and maruti could even debut its new SIM based connected tech system here. The Price could start from 6 lakh and goes up to 8.25 lakh (Ex showroom) for top-spec.
