New Thar get BS 6 compliant diesel engine. New 2.2 liter diesel engine comes in new that that generate power of 140 bhp with 6 speed manual transmission. New Thar also get new 2.0 liter turbo charge petrol engine that features direct injection. The option of 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive remain same.
New Thar exterior specification it get new black painted 18 inch alloy wheels as seem in picture. LED day time running light are also likely to be offered. It will get a long list of features in exterior as well as interior.
